£10,000 Raised for MS Society UK!

GEDA have raised £10,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society UK

Over the past two months, GEDA have been raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

We chose to support this cause when Martin, one of our Site Engineers, suggested that we raised donations in honour of his late mother-in-law, Hazel. The MS Society UK were a tremendous help and support to the family following Hazel’s diagnosis. We have been honoured to join Martin and his family in recognising and supporting the MS Society for the wonderful work they do.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to our sub-contractors, supply chain members, clients, friends and family for the generous donations. We also want to thank the members of our team for their continued support and contributions.

Team GEDA were fully on board to support this worthy cause – all money collected for our Easter Raffle went straight to charity. Additionally, 27 members of staff took part in the Belfast Marathon, too. This included 6 of our team in England flying over especially for the occasion.

In total, £7,755 was raised through an amazing network of people. Due to the outstanding participation and commitment from the team, our directors decided to round the total up to £10,000!

We welcomed Pat Crossley to GEDA head office to accept our donation to the MS Society. Pat has been involved with the MS Society NI for over 40 years, and is currently part of the Northern Ireland Council for the MS Society.

We couldn’t be prouder of our team on this fantastic achievement and wish to once again extend our thanks to everyone who supported in our fundraising.
