We are proud to be working alongside WomensTec with the aim to encourage girls and women to join ‘non-traditional’ roles such as construction! GEDA student Ursula and Public Liaison Officer Aisling welcomed girls aged 11-15 from WomensTec to our Ravenhill site to gain an insight into all things construction. Ursula showed the girls how to get levels, detect services, build structures using marshmallows and spaghetti and they also got a tour of our Ravenhill site. We are delighted to be helping break barriers and encourage more women into the construction industry!
