Project Summary:
Located in Co. Antrim this Capital Works Contract involved the design, construction, commissioning and testing of an upgraded Wastewater Treatment Works within the boundaries of the existing site.
Further Information on the project:
The new Works included preliminary treatment comprising inlet flow screening; FFT interstage pumping station with integral storm water storage; primary settlement tanks; biological treatment process comprising modular rotating biological contactors; final settlement tanks, tertiary treatment plant; sludge management and storage; process flows, levels and quality monitoring; ancillary processes to support the main process units and intelligent motor control centre with telemetry, programmable logic controller and a HMI control system.
