Lidl Shore Road

Located on the Shore Road in Belfast, GEDA constructed a new Type 14 LIDL store, car park and associated drainage and access road.

The Type 14 building had the following construction methods: raft foundation containing 570 cubic metres of concrete, precast concrete columns and wall panels, glulam timber beams roof structure, glazed curtain walling, insulated roof panels and wall panels, welfare area constructed using partition walls, timber joisting, suspended ceilings, MF ceilings, kitchen fit out and finishes and extensive M&E fit out including AHU ventilation.

Externally we carried out the Kerbing and laying of hard surfaces to the carpark area forming a new entrance to the car park and closing off the existing entrance. Soft landscaping was also carried out and perimeter fencing. White lining was used highlighting the new road layout and entrance to the store.
