Project Summary:
The aim of this project was to significantly reduce odour nuisance delivering environmental and water quality improvements in Belfast Lough coastal waters.
Further Information on the project:
This award-winning project comprised of the construction of new interceptor sewers and a new pumping station to enable the closure of all three nearby CSOs. The new PS also intercepts, and pumps existing foul sewage flows from the adjacent MOD facility and Belfast Harbour Estate to the Kinnegar WwTW.
