Glanmire Bridge WwPS

Construction for the Glanmire Bridge Wastewater Pumping Station (WwPS), as part of 1.1 Uisce Éireann's 17/204 Growth & Development Framework (Southern Region). The station was upgraded from its Duty-Assist-Standby pump arrangement (capable of forwarding 140l/s) to a new Duty-Assist-Assist-Assist-Standby arrangement capable of forwarding up to 346l/s, with associated upgrades to internal pipework and electrical services. An upgrade to the existing ESB supply to the site was required to deal with the increased electrical load. Improvements to access for the valve and inlet chambers were made, alongside the external installation of new Surge Vessels and a Wash-water Booster Kiosk.
