Further Information on the project:

The project involved the Design, Construction and Commissioning of a new wastewater treatment plant at Milltown WwTW with a capacity of 2,400 PE with future expansion to accommodate 3,600 PE. Specific works required decommissioning and demolition of 2nr existing treatment plants, construction, and commissioning of new satellite submersible pumping station approx. 2km from the main works, construction of approximately 500m of rising mains from the satellite pumping station. Construction of approximately 2,200m of new gravity sewers, upgrading the main sewer trunks within the town of Dunlavin and construction of approximately 1,000m of new surface water sewer main line from Dunlavin to the River Greese.
