Health Surveillance carried out across Belfast sites
Health surveillance took place last week across a number of our Belfast sites including Ravenhill, QUB, James’ Court and Knock Road.
The ELAS Occupational Health van attended the site and tested hearing, lungs, skin and HAVS (Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome) for site staff.
At GEDA, we take pride in our proactive approach to safety and wellbeing of site staff. That’s why we carry out planned health surveillance twice a year, and sporadically throughout the year for individual employees. We monitor potential risks and review our control measures frequently to identify and prevent problems before they arise.
