GEDA Arrives in County Cavan
We are delighted to announce that we have commenced works on our first site project in Bailieborough, County Cavan!
GEDA will deliver 45 new homes in Bailieborough, County Cavan.
We’re excited to share that Councillor TP O’Reilly, Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, has officially kicked off the Páirc na Teile social housing project in Bailieborough. Our team at GEDA Construction is thrilled to be the principal contractor for this development, working closely with Cavan County Council’s Housing Construction team and Hamilton Young Architects.
We had the pleasure of local Barista, Martin, from the wonderful AMC creations join us on site, allowing everyone to enjoy a cup of coffee and a bun from his coffee cart.
The project will bring 45 new homes to the community, including 28 two-bed homes, 10 three-beds, two four-beds, one five-bed, and four one-bed units. This initiative is fully funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government, and Heritage, with a total investment of €11 million plus VAT. We can’t wait to see the positive impact this will have on Bailieborough!
