GEDA celebrated their 40^th anniversary by hosting a private function in the Europa Hotel, Belfast, in which employees from the company’s building sites in the UK and Ireland, the Northern Ireland head office and English regional office united to mark the business’ anniversary.

On the night of the event, the 18^th November 2022, GEDA collected money for charities based in the three regions where the business operates and split donations three ways. The charities include Air Ambulance NI, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and Irish Community Air Ambulance. The evening also included a timeline presentation of the company’s origins and history, messages from Managing Director, Aaron Hughes, and service awards.

There was also a chance to finally give Eugene McKenna a deserving send-off for his 2020 retirement.

Today, GEDA employs more than 150 people and are actively completing works on more than 45 sites, in three countries.
