This year we kicked off the Safety Stand Down across the company in NI / ROI / GB by delivering Winter Driving Kits to staff to ensure road safety in bad weather conditions.

In line with the CEF’s Safety Initiative, our Health & Safety Officers have been delivering toolbox talks and sharing valuable resources focused on mental health, working from height and day to day safety tips on site, encouraging open discussion and reinforcing best practices across our sites in GB, NI and ROI.

Working at height remains one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in construction. Careful planning before work begins is essential to create a safe system and prevent tragic outcomes.

Mental ill health remains a significant and well‑documented challenge within the construction industry, and open conversations play a vital role in breaking down stigma.

It’s crucial everyone gets to and from work safely and the Safety Reboot reinforces this important message.
