£8,240 Raised for Motor Neurone Disease!

GEDA have raised £8,240 for Motor Neurone Disease Charity - MNDA Association Northern Ireland!

Over several months, GEDA have been raising money in support of aiding those living with Motor Neurones Disease.

We chose to support this cause when Ryan, a member of our finance department requested if we would raise funds for the charity in connection to his mother in law, Mary, who is currently living with Motor Neurones disease.  Since her diagnosis, Mary has received amazing support from MND association in Northern Ireland and they have provided great support to her family since receiving this life changing news.  We had the pleasure of welcoming Mary and her daughter Niamh along with partner Ryan to join the GEDA Belfast Marathon Team and accept the donation with charity representative, Stephen Thompson.

We want to extend our sincere thanks to our sub-contractors, supply chain members, clients, friends and family for their kind and generous donations. We also want to thank the members of our team for their continued support and contributions.

Team GEDA were fully on board to support this worthy cause and all money collected by the 24 GEDA staff members who took part in the Belfast Marathon was matched by GEDA, bringing the total amount raised to £8,240.

We couldn’t be prouder of our team on this fantastic achievement and thanks again to everyone who supported our fundraising activity.
