Project Summary:

This scheme involved the design, construct, testing and commissioning of appropriate modifications to the wastewater treatment facilities.

Further Information on the project:

The Aghagallon Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR) and Integrated Constructed Wetlands (ICW) comprised all permanent and temporary works necessary to design, construct, test and commission appropriate modifications to the wastewater treatment facilities as described in the Works Information, Process Specification and MEICA Specification. The project also involved the full process / M&E / Operational testing over a one year period to model / evaluate the works against that of the Aghalee treatment plant which is MBR-type, located approximately 1.8km from the works.

We supplied and fully fitted out site wide flow splitting chambers between all essential process phases and structures including the MBBR reactors, final settlement tanks and reed beds. The chambers were fitted with stainless steel splitter chambers, baffle plates, adjustable weirs (without interrupting flows) and chamber drain downs.
