Due to our continued success, we have an opportunity for a Pedestrian Operated Crane Driver to work on a residential scheme in Omagh.

 

The Role:

  • Responsible for the transportation of goods around building site.
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Check loads are secure.
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Carry out daily safety checks on forklift and weekly maintenance.
  • Laise with Management on material quantities.
  • Maintain and organise the storage of materials.

 

The Person:

  • Able to work well as part of a team.
  • An understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Good team working/interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills

 

The Experience:

  • Hold a valid CSCS Card.
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Previous experience as a forklift driver.

  • Operate the crane safely in response to given tasks or material requests.
  • Off & load and distribute materials around the site.
  • Maintain and organise the storage of materials.
  • Carry out routine safety checks on the crane and lifting equipment.
  • Laise with Management on material quantities.
  • Monitoring crane stability and load weights.
  • Use correct Slinging techniques and equipment.

 

The Person:

  • The ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and technical manuals would be advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good team working/interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills

 

The Experience:

  • Previous experience as a crane operator.
  • Holding an in date CPCS Card.
  • Full valid driving licence
