We are delighted to be on site at the QUB Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry to undertake refurbishment works to this beautiful, listed building! As part of QUB & GEDA’s waste reduction initiatives, our team got in contact with Habitat for Humanity. They took away old cabinets, doors and carpet tiles for reuse and recycling.
We are proud to get involved in initiatives like these to tackle site waste, and, in turn help local communities.
We have recently handed over a beautiful show home in Crowland where prospective buyers can see what they are in store for when they move into the new homes. This is a social affordable housing development, comprising 55 new homes for Longhurst Group. We look forward to handing over the remainder of the homes later this year. Thanks to Longhurst Group for the photos!
Last month, we attended Upton-Upon-Severn CofE Primary School alongside Severn Trent education team. We got involved with Severn Trent’s free assembly that teaches the kids how to be a #HydrationHero, the problem with single use plastic, and the important role of Severn Trent when it comes to our water cycle. Thanks for having us!
We’re over the moon to have handed over our THIRD store to Lidl. The fantastic new store occupies over 10,000 sq meters at Shore Rd, Belfast. Best of luck to all the team at Lidl, and a very well done to #TeamGEDA on yet another successful project.
Companies we would like to mention:
On #RuralHousingWeek there is an urgent need to protect and build more affordable housing in rural areas. Many rural communities are at risk, as young families and those on modest incomes are priced out, and local services are closed. GEDA are committed to levelling up rural communities and continue to provide housing in lesser populated areas such as Crich and Gotham.
This year we have delivered our 1000th home in the midlands and we are proud to work alongside various housing associations to provide housing in areas that need it most!
