Located within the market town of Horncastle this 5.9 hectares site required ground modelling works due to sites topography. This design and build project consisting of the construction of 106 units (terraced dwellings & bungalows & 2 apartment blocks).Works also included a new attenuated access road, retaining walls, sightline improvement works, landscaping and all associated mechanical and electrical works.
Substructure incorporate trench and pile foundations on a concrete slab, with a traditional masonry building envelope with brick and render facades, double glazing, UPVC rainwater goods and timber truss tiled roof. The project specification also included rain harvesting methods and sustainable rain water drainage system. External finishes included decorative paving, railings, playpark, boundary retaining walls along with extensive landscaping.
