The concept design delivers a modern, multi-sport facility built to meet Sport England guidelines for team sports. The main hall features flexible pitch markings for five-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and netball—supporting a wide range of activities in one dynamic space.
To enhance user experience, the layout includes fully equipped changing and shower facilities, with accessible options for all users. Additional features include dedicated equipment storage and a bold, welcoming reception and lobby area designed to make a strong first impression.
Sustainability has been a key focus throughout the project. A discreet photovoltaic panel array has been installed on the main hall roof—hidden behind a parapet wall—while a green roof tops the changing facilities, supporting biodiversity and improving energy efficiency.
