FORKLIFT DRIVER

Employment Type: Fixed Term – 12 Months 

GEDA is an award-winning, multifaceted Construction, Civil Engineering, and Development company. With offices in Tyrone (NI) and the East Midlands, we operate in all aspects of Construction and Water Infrastructure, though to Commercial and Residential Projects across the UK and Ireland.

Due to the continuing success of our Construction Engineering team, we have an opportunity for a Forklift Driver to work on a residential scheme in Co. Monaghan/Cavan.

Your Role:

• Responsible for the transportation of goods around building site.
• Loading and unloading materials
• Check loads are secure.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Carry out daily safety checks on forklift and weekly maintenance.
• Laise with Management on material quantities.
• Maintain and organise the storage of materials.

The Person:

• Able to work well as part of a team.
• An understanding of health and safety requirements
• Good team working/interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good organisational skills

Your Experience:

• Hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Trained on Telescopic Handler
• Experience on a building site
• Full valid driving licence
• Previous experience as a forklift driver.
