Thanks to a collaborative partnership between Gedling Borough Council, Pelham Architects, NCHA and Geda Construction this prominent corner site has been transformed, providing twenty high quality energy efficient homes for local people. ‘Home Grove Court’ is one of many projects aided by the council in the area which it has help seed regeneration, with local residents getting first choice of the affordable homes.
Consisting of eighteen 1 bed apartments for Affordable Rent and two 2 bed houses for Shared Ownership works included removal of asbestos, demolition, strip foundations, traditional masonry built (3 storeys) with external steel frame walkway. Externally finishes included red brick, coloured cladding, glazed brick & a slate roof.
