New Build two-storey community fire station on a green field site comprising the construction of a 3 bay appliance garage with associated community fire safety facilities.

Constructed using trench fill foundations and structural steel frame the traditional block work construction was clad in Fernhill stone and self-coloured render with a slate roof. Internal works included the construction of a staff canteen, changing facilities, gym and meeting rooms. Geda incorporated our air tight construction techniques to enhance the environmental performance of the completed building. The project also involved extensive site works including construction of a new access road, car parking, drill tower and hard and soft landscaping.
